New York's finest Interpol are releasing a special 10 year anniversary edition of their 1st album Turn on The Bright Lights, fully remastered. To commerate it they are releasing a special package including deluxe hardbound book with unreleased photos (48 pages in the CD, 28 large pages in the vinyl) and a second disc of bonus tracks, many unreleased, plus demos and B-sides and a DVD. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club recently performed at the launch of the new converse shoe by John Varvatos aptly titled The Weapon. The band performed Beat The Devils Tattoo to an exclusive crowd at 315 Bowrey.
A great performance and we can only hope the best rock n roll band of the last 10 years will be keeping us posted about the new material they are currently recording in the studio. For now, you can catch their latest performance right here......

Expect some of this......
On Friday night we hurried along after our set at night & day to catch Deap Vally play round the corner at The Soup Kitchen. Luckily we made it just as their set began. There was a good sized crowd gathered for a band so new, they are making an impact fast.
We weren't sure wether or not to expect a good performance but the girls put all their effort in and it paid off. Lindsey's soulful vocals belted out recent single Gonna Make My Own Money, other tracks Ain't Fair, Baby I Call Hell and a dirty, sexy mid set cover of I put a Spell on You as well as some material we hadn't heard before.
We liked them before but love them now, they were chatty and engaging with the audience, on one occasion telling us how much they loved Boots saying they could have spent all day in there. Well it's not surprising they clearly take pride in their appearance. Take a look at some of the pics we took at the gig....
The Rolling Stones have announced that they will be releasing a new greatest hits album, titled GRRR! spanning five decades of their work whilst also including two brand new tracks that Mick and the boys recorded in Paris.
The new tracks are the first that all the band have recorded and completed since 2005's A Bigger Bang and the whole of the album will be a 3cd 50 track record. Yes it maybe just another Stones greatest hits album but if your still looking for some more stones satisfaction, then come get some.
